Sandwich Making 101
Step 1
Wearing gloves is REQUIRED. Wear hair ties in longer hair. Lay out bread.
Step 2
Place one piece of cheese on EACH slice of bread. Every sandwich should have at least two pieces of cheese (align them with the bread).
Step 3
Use 2 slices turkey or ham on each sandwich.
Step 4
Lay the last slice of bread on top
Step 5
Place each sandwich in an individual Ziploc sandwich bag. Press out excess air. Seal tightly.
Step 6
Neatly place the zip-locked sandwiches into the loaf bag, press out excess air, and secure well with a twist tie—no knots/bands.

Food Safety and Handling
Preparation
Check expiration dates before you buy bread, cheese, and meat
Refrigerate meat and cheese immediately
Clean and cover all counters for sandwich preparation
Making Sandwiches
Do not leave open containers of peanut butter or other nut/shellfish products near deli ingredients. Use separate knives for the jelly and the peanut butter
Wear gloves. Wash your hands before you put on your gloves. Change gloves if you touch anything other than food ingredients
Make one loaf of sandwiches at a time. Immediately return the completed loaf to the refrigerator before starting another loaf
Transporting Sandwiches
Deliver sandwiches in cooler with ice packs to host's house
